The 70-day Olympic Torch Relay has begun at Land’s End in Cornwall, with Ben Ainslie as the first runner.
Each runner will run 300 meters before exchanging the flame to the next torchbearer through the method known as ‘The Kiss.’
Today is the first day of the journey which starts at Land’s End and finishes in Plymouth.
The flame will end it’s journey at the newly built Olympic Stadium on the 27th of July for the opening ceremony.
